Hunt and his men stay busy tracking bank robbers and bringing them to justice while trying to avoid riding into a trap.

Jared and Clover are attacked by Indians and are forced to take refuge on a rocky cliff. On the third day they run out of water, food, and are low on ammo when Jared is struck by an arrow. Hunt sends out a search party to find the missing men, and end up being attacked and get pinned down in a small cove by over 100 Indians.
Hunt’s men investigate a case of missing cattle and discover a rancher consumed with hatred for his neighbor.
Hunt is forced to deal with numerous challenges, a cowboy dragging a man through the streets of Denver, a pickpocket thief, robbers, and murderers while dealing with a sick wife and the need of a larger, more comfortable home for his growing family.

Another excellent Hunt US Marshall story............Good overcome evil, yep, the bad guys either get shot or hung, their necks snapping loudly when the trap door opens.. Yum Yum
Another super read from the desk of W.L. Cox. Many hair raising adventures by Hunt's deputies. This series of novels is much like being addicted to an old timie soap opera. These books are destined to be classics. I anxiously await the next thrilling adventures of Hunt's deputies. I would recommend this book to all of you cowboy fans. Giddy yup....
